A super-zesty, contemporary treatment of Handel’s “Messiah” piece with refreshing Baroque moments.. A driving groove with considerable syncopation. Calls for a very good male soloist singing with confidence. Choral can be sung by a very good choir or by a smaller ensemble. Option: Use an ensemble posing the question “Who is the King of Glory” with choir responding. The lower challenge level 4 with lots of unisons, put this within reach of most choirs.
