This medley has become one of Jerry’s signature arrangements. A very inventive blend of two spirituals for one (4-hands) or two pianos. The vamp is very reminiscent of Dave Grusin’s score “The Firm.” “Wayfarin” – slow and bluesy. “I Need Jesus” is appropriately a brisker mood. Neat groove. You gotta love it.
