"Symphony of Joy" was the third in a trilogy of concerts. The concert featured the "Dueling Pianos" of Lance Garrett and Jerry Nelson with mass 400-voice choir and orchestra. Being an outreach concert, it included some of the best of Broadway, including selections from "Phantom of the Opera" and "Sound of Music," plus the Dueling Pianos jazz stylings as well as touches of Classical and Hebraic. The concert was punctuated by great hymns and spirituals, concluding with an energized arrangement of "Great Joy," featuring both Kidz and Adult choirs with full orchestra.
The chemistry that exists between Jerry and Lance, was evident not only in the many off-the-cuff humorous moments, but also the candid and spontaneous moments in which they share their hearts and the purpose that drives their ministry.
"Symphony of Joy" is also available in DVD.
